ABOUT US

Jeremiah 38 Ministries Inc. is founded on the principles found in the Bible in Chapter 38 of the Book of Jeremiah. In this Chapter, Ebedmelech (his name means “Servant of the King”) comes to the aid of the Old Testament Prophet Jeremiah. Jeremiah had been cast into a miry dungeon because he had faithfully proclaimed the Word of God. Ebedmelech risked his life to approach the king and made a plea to save Jeremiah from this miry pit.
The king instructed Ebedmelech to take 30 men and pull Jeremiah from the pit. It is from this principle of coming to the aid and assistance of fellow laborers in Christ that Jeremiah 38 Ministries is founded. Jeremiah 38 will partner with other fundamental, Bible Believing Christians and Churches. Jeremiah 38 Ministries’ goal is to share the Gospel of Christ at home and around the world, while transforming the lives of our partners and volunteers. “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.” Matthew 28: 19
U.S. Based Ministry Partners
Many smaller churches lack the resources to organize and send out short-term mission trips. Jeremiah 38 provides the structure and organization required to perform this function effectively, and then invites churches to become partners. These U.S. based ministry partners come alongside Jeremiah 38 while benefitting from an established network of international missionary and church partners who already have mission opportunities in place. This partnership structure allows churches to be better stewards of their mission funds, as there is no need to spend money developing mission opportunities internationally.
Oakland Chapel Church in Kitts Hill, Ohio is a founding partner with Jeremiah 38 and has been instrumental in sending mission teams to Peru, Honduras, and Ecuador, as well as several mission opportunities within the United States.

Romans Road to Salvation
We believe Salvation comes by Faith in Jesus Christ, and is clearly set forth in the following scriptures in the book of Romans:Rom 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;…Rom 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.Rom 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.Rom 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.Rom 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.Rom 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.Rom 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.Rom 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
What We Do
We are a missions and missions support organization helping to share the love of Christ locally and internationally. We accomplish this primarily through the sending of short-term, medically oriented mission teams who provide a much needed service to the communities that are being served by our international ministry partners. This allows us to provide both physical and spiritual care with the assurance that the people to whom we minister are connected with a biblically solid local church upon our departure. Jeremiah 38 will also send mission teams to help with Vacation Bible Schools, construction assistance, or other projects to assist Pastors and orphanages.
Medical Missions
Peru-Lima and Iquitos, host missionary Stacy Dassow
Honduras- La Ceiba, Pastor Jorge Duran Iglesia Bautista Monte Horeb
Ecuador- Quito Alausi and Riobamba

Fundraising
Sending mission teams to do the Lord's work takes the financial support of many, and involves multiple fundraising efforts.
The cost of each mission trip is approximately $1,500 per missionary, and that expense is expected to be covered primarily by each missionary. Some scholarships are available, either partial or full, to help those who have a heart to serve who might not otherwise be able to attend.
Additional fundraising events are held throughout the year to ensure coverage of medical supplies and other expenditures that help to promote the local churches and missionaries during these trips . These events include:
Golf Tournament - Haig Point, Daufuskie Island, SC
Lawrence County Fair Gates- Lawrence County fairgrounds, OH
Drama- ???
